Ido-Ekiti Progressive Association, Lagos Branch (IPA) is honouring its immediate past executives and some distinguished members at its Merit Award and Send-Off Ceremony today, Saturday, April 26, 2025.
The event is scheduled to hold at Ido-Ekiti House, 10 Agbekolade Street, Idi-Oro, Lagos, according to a statement by the IPA Lagos Chairman, Mr Olukayode Abiodun Abe, General Secretary, Prince Niyi Faboro, and Organising Committee Chairman, Mr Gbolaga Olayokun.
“We’ll be celebrating distinguished Ido indigenes and honouring those who have served us with dedication”, the statement, which described the former leaders as serving selflessly for over a decade said.
“It promises to be a day of pride, reflection, and renewed commitment to our collective progress.”
The immediate past executives to be honoured are Chief Dave Omoniyi, JP (Chairman), Chief Olufemi David Omodun, JP, Mr Samuel Fasuyi Ojo, Chief Oladimeji Durodola, Mr. Babatunde Awoluyi, Mr. Gbolaga Olayokun, Prince Adeniyi Faboro and Mr Adeolu Owoeye.
Those for award of recognition are Dr Olukayode Akinlade, Chief (Mrs) Eva Anike Akomolafe, Mr Adesoji Olusegun Faboro, Otunba Babatunde Ajayi (T-Cash), Prince Adefemi Olayisade and Dr. Dapo Ayeni.
