Celebrating three decades of successful operation in Lagos, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of ICS, Mr. Peter Akindeju in his address said, while ICS celebrates 30 years of making impacts, the company would also be deepening its investments in other industries through its subsidiaries.

The envisioned areas are- Healthcare through Lifeworth HMO and Biopath Diagnostics Limited, ICT through Business Codes and Technologies Limited and Background Verifications through Crystal Checks International Limited.

“As we look into the future, we will also be doing some investments in specialized real estates. This company has not only added value to over 70,000 direct employees over the years but has impacted more 300,000 lives indirectly if you adopt a family multiplier of 4 to 5 members. Besides this, ICS Outsourcing contributes directly to the economy of all the 36 states of the federation and the FCT by remitting PAYE to these states monthly.” ICS boss affirmed that, while the company celebrate its past successes, it also look toward the future with optimism and determination. He noted that the outsourcing industry evolves rapidly, influenced by technology and automation, and laced with new challenges, the importance adaptability cannot be overstated.

“In the next decade, ICS Outsourcing will continue to emphasize innovation and sustainability, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry. Our strategic goals will focus on employee development and client satisfaction, fostering an environment where creativity and collaboration thrive.

“At ICS Outsourcing Ltd, we believe that doing business goes beyond profits—it’s about making a positive impact in the communities we serve and being a responsible steward of the environment. Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is deeply woven into the fabric of our company, guiding us in our interactions with people and the planet”

Akindeju added ICS would continue to make individual donations to support vulnerable communities annually, having donated school items, food and relief materials to various communities. “We have partnered with various agencies in the areas of capacity development. They include the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Road Safety Corp etc. It is also pertinent to note that these interventions happen concurrently everywhere we operate pan Nigeria”

On the corporate front, he revealed that the Outsourcing company had undertaken the refurbishment, repair and maintenance of the Olusoji Idowu Street where it operates from, in Ilupeju, Lagos at least twice. “The first time, we tarred the road and when that got bad after a couple of years, we laid the more permanent interlocking blocks on the road five years ago.

“We are dedicated to balancing our business goals with social and environmental responsibilities. Through our efforts, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities. As we look into the future, we are determined to do more to protect the environment, as we are almost concluding discussions on a cut over to alternative/natural sources of energy. We are also setting up a foundation- The Career Boosters Foundation (ICS Cares) which is going to cater to free Market Readiness Trainings for young graduates, and scholarships for indigent students.

“ICS Outsourcing was established with the noble ambition of providing meaningful opportunities to non-graduates by employing them to handle noncore functions in the banking sector. This move was to solve the high attrition rates observed at the cash points/teller cubicles in the newest banks at that time. Our commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence remains unwavering, and we look forward to further enhancing our relationships” he added.
