The stakes are higher for Nigeria U19 Women’s Cricket team at ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia after shared point with England on Saturdays morning.

Nigeria’s first Super Six game was perceived as a herculean task against first edition finalist, England. It would have been a ‘David and Goliath’ battle, but the rain washed away as 1 point was shared between Nigeria and England.

For Nigeria U19 girls, the Saturday’s match would have been either a painful hurdle or heroic performance. Nigerians girls in the World Cup are fearful, unpredictable, and unbelievable in the tournament.

England, on the other hand, has standout performers like  Davina Perrin and Tilly Coleman to depend and watch for.
