She sure knows her onion. From being a make-up artiste, she decided to have her own brand of make-up . Today, she’s one of the top notch beauty entrepreneur making waves in the society. In this interview with Sunday Sun, Adeola  Adeyemi  reveals what makes her tick.

How would you describe yourself?

Adeola  Adeyemi is a talented and passionate CEO of BeautybyAD & Lifestyle Influencer. I am a homebody and a socialite as well. I am also a strong advocate for self-empowerment, inspiring others to embrace their true selves and believe in their own craft. I am a hardworker and I have a positive approach on life. My goal is to help others feel their best and confident in their own skin through make-up.

Tell us a bit about growing up and the kind of girl that you were, for example, in secondary/post-secondary school, how did you stand out?

I grew up in a rough environment, which shaped me into the determined, goal-oriented person I am today. I have always had a positive attitude and always prioritized self-improvement and personal growth, so I would say I learnt most of what I know from surfing the Internet with so many trial and error.

How did you start out being an influencer?

I began influencing in 2011 by providing valuable content and connect with my audience in an authentic way. I gradually built a loyal following and grew by collaborating with brands, attending events, and expanding my reach to inspire even more people. The urge to make a positive impact is what ultimately propelled me to become a successful influencer.

How does being in the public eye affect the things you do, are you extra careful with what you do or the places you go?

Being in the public eye definitely makes me more conscious of my actions and decisions. I try to be mindful of how my behaviour may be perceived by others and make sure to act in a way that aligns with my values and beliefs. I also consider the potential impact of my choices on my reputation and overall image. But at the same time, I believe in being authentic and true to myself, so I don’t let the fear of judgment dictate my every move. It’s all about finding a balance between being cautious and staying true to who I am.
