Asiabaka Chukwudi Justin, hypeman to the popular Nollywood actor and rapper, Charles Okocha better known as Igwe Tupac has opened up on his first contact with the phenomenal crooner.

Mr Justin made the disclosure recently while briefing newsmen in Lagos on Saturday.

The celebrity hypeman said that his first engagement with the ‘bad boy’ actor was some years ago when he featured him in his brother’s (8th Wonda) musical video, adding that it has been a fruitful contact since then as the actor has helped him in his career as an entertainer.

According to him, “When I came in contact with Charles Okocha sometime in 2017, I did a video to let my friends and well wishers know about it, though I have been a fan of his work before then. I used to watch him on TV and I love his movies. It was until that year my brother shot a musical video where he featured him in the musical video.

“That was my first contact with him.”

He maintained that his way into the entertainment industry dates back to when he was a child. He loved public figures and always saw himself becoming one in the future.

“Growing up as a child, I have always wanted to be a celebrity, a public figure. I loved being in the spotlight for people to take notice of me.”

Speaking on his craft as a hypeman, Mr Justin noted that he derives pleasure doing his job. He finds peace marrying both hyping musicians, music production and promotion.

“There’s this inner peace I get when I hype top artists. It’s like a passion for me that motivates me to do more.

“Once I give a celebrity an appraisal, they are always excited.”

The artist further prayed for a favourable career in the entertainment industry as he keeps climbing the leader to stardom.
