In a bold move to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship among Nigerian youth, the Humanitarian Achievement and Outreach Foundation has launched a ₦4 million Student Startup Fund, exclusively targeting student entrepreneurs from institutions across the South East.
The initiative, designed to support emerging founders with high-impact ideas, is one of the major highlights of the upcoming SESEI Conference 2025 — a leading platform celebrating student innovation, startup development, and community impact.
Thanks to the generous support of Flamingos Car Tech and a coalition of impact-driven partners, the fund will provide non-repayable startup grants of ₦100,000 and ₦50,000 to 40 student-led ventures, helping them kickstart or scale their businesses.
“We believe in young people — in their creativity, grit, and solutions. This grant is our way of saying: we see you, we believe in you, and we’re investing in your future,” said Mr. Emmanuel Anabueze, Convener of SESEI and Founder of the Humanitarian Achievement and Outreach Foundation.
In addition to the financial support, recipients of the grant will gain access to mentorship, post-conference onboarding via The CEO App, and visibility through the foundation’s media and partner ecosystem.
This initiative reaffirms the Foundation’s commitment to practical empowerment and grassroots impact. As SESEI 2025 draws near, all eyes are on the next generation of innovators who are ready to build, lead, and leave a mark.
