Huawei Technology and its partner, Arravo technology solutions provider, have unveiled the Arravo Managed Service Platform (MSP) solution that allows businesses scale up for profitability.

The MSP solution, which is cloud-based, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature, allows businesses to focus on their core operations, while Arravo deploys the MSP solution, which is a full managed solution package that helps organisations to save cost.

In his presentation, the Director, Enterprise Solutions for Arravo, Mr. Ayantola Olaayan, said the arravo MSP solution is the first cloud managed solution for network device to be hosted locally in Nigeria. According to him, before now, organisations used cloud service providers to manage their networks from a remote location, but Arravo was able to bring the solution to Nigeria to be hosted locally to serve more businesses. Hear him,“To allay the fears of our customers about data sovereignty, Arravo decided to host the MSP solution locally, which is a solution that can manage network devices for businesses”.

He further explained the MSP solution helps businesses to reduce their Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX), since the customer will not invest to own its own private cloud, adding that Huawei and Arravo are introducing the MSP solution that helps organisations to better manage their business for greater profitability.

Continuing, he stated that the solution would simplify the deployment and management of organisation’s network, as well as give clear visibility into the organisation’s network.

The General Manager, Cloud and Infrastructure at Arravo, Mr. Obuseh Thompson, said the MSP solution remained secured and designed to protect users from getting hacked. According to him, the solution is fully encrypted and prevents hackers from getting unauthorised access into organisation’s network, adding that the MSP solution ensures full protection of the customers’ data.

Network Solutions Sales Manager at Huawei, Mr. Atabor Hamza, in his presentation on Huawei Cloud Campus Solution, said the solution would enable the growth of the modern day campus network.

Stressing the dominance of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, among others, and how they influence the way networks are being accessed, Hamza said:  “Huawei Cloud Campus Solution cuts across all different sectors like the health sector, manufacturing sector, among others. Huawei invests heavily in research and development and commits over 22 per cent of its annual revenue on global research and development.”       

Huawei staff, Mr. Unogu Amobi Richmund, who did a live demo on the Huawei Idea Hub, said: “The Huawei Idea Hub is a stand-alone device that ornanisations can use for their meetings. Several apps can be integrated into the hub to perform different functions. It can serve as a backup system for the purposes of recording and for playback of meeting proceedings. It has several in-built microphones that recognize voices at meetings and immediately zoom on the person speaking for all to see, and the adoption rate by businesses is gradually growing.”
