Sproxil, anti-counterfeiting and consumer engagement, has announced the launch of Artificial Intelligence Support Healthcare Assistant (AISHA) an innovative WhatsApp AI Assistant designed to deliver on-demand health information to Nigerian consumers.

This groundbreaking move marks a major leap forward in post-purchase care, turning what was once a simple verification process into a robust, technology-driven healthcare support system.

For years, Sproxil has led efforts to protect consumers against the dangers of counterfeit medications. Its popular authentication system, which allows customers to verify the authenticity of medications using QR codes or 13-digit SMS codes, has been widely adopted across Nigeria and beyond. But as Ashifi Gogo, CEO and Founder of Sproxil, explains, the company realized it could do even more to support consumers. “We wanted to close the gap between verification and education. Once someone knows their drug is genuine, what next? With AISHA, we make sure they can immediately access the information they need to use that medication safely and effectively, and even get clear, concise answers to a wide range of general health inquiries.”

AISHA is fully integrated into Sproxil’s authentication system. After a consumer successfully authenticates a product, they receive a WhatsApp link directly in their confirmation message. With one tap, they are welcomed by the Assistant, which offers interactive options such as understanding potential side effects, checking for drug interactions, reviewing storage instructions, and accessing general health or product details.

Consumers can engage AISHA with up to 15 questions every 24 hours, making the experience personal and tailored to their needs. At the end of each session, users are invited to leave feedback, which helps Sproxil refine and improve the Assistant over time. This user-centric model ensures that AISHA remains relevant, useful, and aligned with real-world healthcare challenges.

Ashifi Gogo added, “We see AISHA as part of a larger mission to put power back in the hands of the consumer. Post-purchase care has long been an overlooked area in healthcare, but we believe it’s critical. It’s where trust is either built or broken, and with AISHA, we’re building it stronger than ever.”

By transforming the verification process into a full post-purchase care journey, Sproxil is setting a new benchmark in the pharmaceutical market. Nigerian consumers now move beyond simply knowing their medications are safe; they gain the knowledge and confidence to manage their health proactively.

For access, customers need only authenticate their purchase and tap the WhatsApp link to start chatting with AISHA. This innovation promises to reshape the future of healthcare interaction and patient empowerment across Nigeria, bringing accessible, life-enhancing knowledge directly into the hands of everyday people.
