Ace Nollywood producer and actor, Martini Animashaun has shared the strategy he applies to evade sexual arousals while on movie set.
The Fine Boy actor in an encounter with Saturday Sun revealed that he does his best to apply professionalism while playing romantic roles.
“When I have to act in romantic scenes, I make sure to prepare myself well, have open communication with my co-stars and the director, and focus on the technical details such as where to stand and move. This helps me to maintain professionalism and avoid getting overwhelmed by personal emotions.
“Generally, I refrain from roles that perpetuate harmful stereotypes or promote messages that I find morally objectionable. I believe in using my platform responsibly and would want to ensure that the characters I portray contribute positively to society,” he asserted.
Animashaun who just tidied up the production of his latest movie, Aiye Nika sheds more light on the project.
“Aiye Nika emphasises the consequences of actions and the concept of Karma. It highlights the importance of honesty and trust in family relationships; the possibility of redemption; and the need to face consequences with courage. Creating a big movie with stars like Mercy Aigbe and Mr. Macaroni is thrilling. Their talent adds depth to the project.”
The filmmaker also expressed his disappointment with key actors in the movie for not being supportive in promoting Aiye Nika, “Key actors like Mercy Aigbe, blatantly refused to promote the movie. This feels like a betrayal of the team’s hard work and dedication,” he lamented.
