There has never been, or will there be, anything quite so special as the love between the mother and a son. This momentous phrase best underscores why young entrepreneur and writer, Dr. Adedara S. Oduguwa alongside his siblings pulled all the stops to celebrate their mum, Chief (Mrs) Bolanle Elizabeth Temidayo Oduguwa, who turned 60 penultimate Saturday 23 September.

On this special occasion of joining the Diamond Club with great joy and happiness, the children hosted some family members, friends and political associates at the celebrant’s Sagamu, Ogun State residence to an amazing 60th birthday celebration in appreciation of her enduring spirit, love and unwavering dedication to their upbringing. Regarded as a woman of great strength and resilience, her children take pride in her accomplishments. An astute businesswoman and politician of note, Oduguwa ventured into active politics under the guidance and leadership of her late husband, Chief Kofoworola Adenuga Oduguwa whom she married in 1984. She has been actively engaged in various political activities between 1991 and 2021. She has served as a woman leader, coordinator, polling agent, and ex-officio member within different political parties, including the National Republican Convention (NRC), United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP), and PDP.
