HitchAfrica, a ride-sharing, dispatch, food, and grocery shopping application is kicking off a story-telling campaign on social media to introduce its valued customers to the dedicated drivers who power its services.
The campaign, named #Hillary&Hilda, has already sparked significant excitement across various social media platforms.
According to Okereke Fellowship, the company’s product communications director, “At the core of HitchAfrica lies our exceptional network of drivers and merchants, and #Hillary&Hilda is our way of honoring them. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate a sense of community among both our merchants and drivers.”
Okereke further elaborated that #Hillary&Hilda is a comprehensive promotion centered on driver/merchants spotlights, showcasing inspiring narratives of HitchAfrica drivers on social media channels. These stories are intended to highlight the human side of the HitchAfrica community, featuring individuals ranging from single parents striving to support their families to aspiring entrepreneurs who also work as drivers and merchants.
The campaign, according to the marketing manager, will also incorporate interactive challenges, described as “fun challenges, event giveaways, and competitions” designed to encourage consumers to share their encounters with HitchAfrica services, fostering a sense of community and solidarity.
