Prof. Anya Oko Anya who recently joined the octogenarian club will be hosted to a dinner by a group of his young friends, led by Mr. Udeme Ufot, tomorrow at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos.
According to Ufot, the dinner is in celebration of an exceptional leader of virtue who has relentlessly served the country.
It will attract former heads of state, including General Ibrahim Babangida, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, present and past governors, among other eminent guests.
The event would also feature the launch of a two volume book entitled: “Times, thoughts and ideas” which explores the interdisciplinary mind of Prof. Anya.
In addition to the book launch, there will be a weeklong art exhibition curated by Ugoma Adegoke.
Former military head of state, General Yakubu Gowon, is expected to be the chairman of the event while Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, will be the book reviewer.
