A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Chief Segun Ajibulu, has congratulated the Governor of the state, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, on his ‘Governor of The Year’ award.
Alubulu, in a statement he personally signed, described the award by the Independent Newspapers on the Governor as validation of the people’s verdict on the present administration in the state.
While rejoicing with the governor on his recognition, the former senatorial aspirant in the state said the award was a thing of joy to Ekiti people, both at home and abroad.
According to him, Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated a strong capacity to surpass the records of his predecessors in office through his unique style of leadership which places Ekiti’s interest far and above political consideration.
” I received the news of the conferment of the prestigious ‘Governor of The Year ‘ award on our dynamic and amiable Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji with joy. As one of the critical stakeholders in the Ekiti project and who has been following your track records and political trajectory, I was not too surprised that your innovative approach to governance is being recognized from outside of Ekiti.
“Those who live abroad are being daily inundated with reports of spectacular interventions in the various sectors of the economy of the State by your administration. I can only pray to God Almighty to, continue to give you the strength and enablement to deliver more dividends of democracy to our people. Once again, congratulations Your Excellency,” Ajibulu said.
