On Wednesday, Governor Siminalay Fubara was locked out of the Rivers State House of Assembly when he arrived at the complex to find a sealed gate.
According to newsmen on ground, the complex gate was locked by the security personnel the moment Fubara and his convoy arrived at the premises.
It was gathered that the security acted based on a lack of communication between the Assembly and the governor.
Addressing the issue, Fubara stated that he informed Speaker Martins Amaewhule through a letter that he was coming.
Fubara added that he had been trying to reach Amaewhule on the phone since Tuesday.
