Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah, will spearhead a State Governors Roundtable at the 2025 Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit (CTIS) in London, starting Monday, 7 April. The session will focus on unlocking opportunities in Enugu and beyond, as announced in a weekend press release by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).

CWEIC, tasked by Commonwealth Heads of Government to boost trade and investment, links over 140 partners across public and private sectors. It drives economic growth across the 56 Commonwealth nations. The summit, held at London’s historic Mansion House until Tuesday, 8 April, will unite business leaders, heads of government, and senior ministers.

The release stated: “Following the Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa last October, this business-to-government summit will provide a platform to advance discussion, re-focus on critical issues, and ensure that Commonwealth business priorities are advanced.” Over 400 delegates from 40+ countries have confirmed, showing the event’s high demand.
