In a 2022 Juniper Research report, online payment fraud is projected to reach $343 billion globally between 2023 and 2027, this can be reduced using the Gold Treats App, a dual-function digital platform designed to combine secure escrow payments with communication features for users.

The Gold Treats App is operated by GT USA Intergrated Link.

Developed by Gold Okechukwu Stanley Obiefuna, a Nigerian-born technology entrepreneur based in the United States, the app is designed to address growing concerns over online payment fraud and the lack of transactional trust within Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.

According to the developer, the Gold Treats App incorporates an escrow system that holds funds until agreed-upon conditions between buyers and sellers are met. It aims to provide a unified platform for digital transactions and secure communication.

The app also includes features for direct payments, gifting, and token-based merchant transactions. In addition to payment services, it offers voice and video communication tools that include privacy controls, such as restrictions on screenshots and screen recordings during calls.

Other features include:

Escrow Payments: A system that uses token-based passcodes to release funds only after transaction conditions are fulfilled.

Privacy-Based Calls: Encrypted voice and video calls with customizable settings.
