Chelsea coach Maurizo Sarri has opened the door of a potential exit for 27-year-old Victor Moses to leave the club in January when the transfer window opens, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Sarri had firm talks with Moses and told the Nigerian that he isn’t part of his future plans for the team and he is free to leave if teams table an offer, which matches his valuation by Chelsea.
Moses moved from his role as in integral player during the reign of Antonio Conte to a player who has just 26 minutes of league football under Sarri whose team is currently unbeaten in all competitions.
A different approach and tactics from that of Conte has seen the Nigerian shifted to the flanks as opposed to previous seasons where he played and flourished as a right wingback.
Among the options available to Sarri, Moses is down the pecking order with youth team graduates Calum Hudson Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheeks now ahead of the former Wigan Athletics man, who recently retired from international football with Nigeria.
