Born Abdou Kere on March 31, 1994, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, General Tchoutchoubatchou has made significant strides in the comedy industry. He grew up in Abidjan, where he completed his education at Djedji Amondjo Pierre modern high school, earning his baccalaureate in 2015.

 

Moving back to Burkina Faso, he enrolled in Joseph Ki-Zerbo University to study geography. Despite his academic pursuits, Tchoutchoubatchou’s passion for comedy couldn’t be contained. In his second year, he decided to follow his comedic dreams.

 

His initial foray into acting included starring roles in the 2018 feature film “Albert I Wanted to Be Ready” and the series “Medg Then” directed by Abdoul Bagué. By 2019, he was featured in the film “Le Film” by Dramane Gnessi. Tchoutchoubatchou’s live performances have captivated audiences at major events like the Bonané Festival, Nuit de la Parenté à Joisanterie, and Garba Festival.

In 2017, he embraced web comedy, consistently sharing content on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. His digital presence has garnered him over 6 million followers. His comedic brilliance has earned him prestigious accolades.

 

In 2022, he was honored with the Best Influencer Award at the Eucher Tv Awards in Lomé and the Most Influential Comedian Award at the Burkimbi Influence Awards. In 2023, he received the Best African Web Actor award at the African Talent Awards in Abidjan, confirming his place as a prominent figure in African comedy.
