A new foundation, the Jellily Efedi Care Foundation (JEC Foundation), has been established to support underprivileged women and children. The foundation aims to provide access to education, healthcare and economic empowerment opportunities.

The JEC Foundation will focus on providing scholarships, skills training programmes and essential relief materials to those in need. Amb. Efedi Jellily Chukwuhumeyan, a businessman and philanthropist, established the JEC Foundation in celebration of his 40th birthday.

Efedi, known for his community involvement, is an active member of Rotary International and has served in various leadership roles within the organization. He is also a member of the Catholic Men Organization.

Efedi stated: “This initiative reflects my belief that every individual deserves access to a dignified life. We aim to create real, lasting change, not just offer charity.”

The foundation will collaborate with various stakeholders, including corporate bodies and government agencies, to ensure the sustainability and impact of its programmes. As the JEC Foundation embarks on this journey, it promises to become a beacon of hope for women and children in need.
