A non-governmental organization, United for Kids Foundation, has organised the 2024 Summer Camp programme for over 100 primary school leavers in Lagos.

The programme showcased various activities, including arts and crafts, dance competitions, debates and presentations celebrating Nigeria’s heroes’ pasts. At the end of the event, Ojodu Group of Schools took the first position, while Adebule Primary School, Archbishop Tailor Primary School/ Kuramo Primary School, and Victoria Island Group of schools came second, third, and fourth, respectively.

The Vice Chairman of the United for Kids Foundation, Adesuwa Ladoja, said the camp was part of the efforts to equip primary school leavers with social skills, decision-making abilities, and other essential skills needed to succeed in their higher education.

This year’s summer camp exemplifies the foundation’s mission to create a supportive environment where young minds can grow and thrive.
