Newly appointed Managing Director of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi has said that his leadership would focus on improving food security and economic development in Northern Nigeria.
In a letter of gratitude to President Bola AhmednTinubu, Bichi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kano State, insisted that he would leverage the authority’s expertise in water resources management and agricultural development to achieve the laudable goals.
He remarked that the president had demonstrated an “unparalleled commitment” to providing food security through his indomitable support for agriculture by providing the necessary inputs to practical farmers.
His words: “As the MD of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, I am eager to collaborate with all stakeholders to harness the potential of the authority.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I am committed to working tirelessly to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“This agenda aligns with my passion for driving sustainable development and improving the lives of Nigerians.”
He appreciated the appointments of Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, Baffa Dan Datti Abdulkadir, Hajia Zainab Gamawa, Tijjani Musa Isa and Ma’amun Da’u Aliyu in the new board
He also extended his “deepest appreciation” to the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and his National Working Committee (NWC), for his steadfastness in promoting the ideals of the party and his tireless efforts to drive growth, sustainability, and progress in promoting the president’s vision for a prosperous and united Nigeria.
