Two weeks ago, we began the introductory part of this teaching.
We talked about what it means to flourish and said it means “to grow”. It equally means “to develop in a healthy or vigorous way”.
To Flourish is to experience luxuriant growth– this means, “rich and persistent growth”.
We said that one of the synonyms of flourishing is spreading.
We also said that flourishing on every side is;
When every area of your life is experiencing consistent progress.
When every facet of your life is secured from all satanic siege.

Last week, we highlighted the significance of the Palm Tree and this week, we will be talking about the Characteristics of the Cedars of Lebanon.
Psalm 92:12-14.KJV. 12 “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;”.
If God wants you to grow like the Cedars in Lebanon, I think we should find out what makes them so special.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CEDARS OF LEBANON.
The Cedars of Lebanon have been around for a very long time.
The Lebanese cedar is one of the oldest trees in human history.
The Cedars of Lebanon can grow up to 120 feet.
Their wood is highly valued because it does not rot easily and it is resistant to pests and decay.
• Because of its characteristics (size, diameter, lifespan), The cedar has become a symbol of greatness, nobility, strength and incorruptibility.
• Cedar trees symbolize resilience, immortality, strength, and elevation.
• They can grow for thousands of years and reach the heights of 40 plus meters.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR CHRISTIANS?
God likened the prosperity of the believer to that of the palm tree and the cedar of Lebanon.
As a Christian, you are programmed by God to flourish in all your endeavours. You are a multi-dimensional being so hardship for the Christian is a function of ignorance or inadequate understanding.
The Cedars of Lebanon grow very tall; As a Christian, God expects you to grow and attain the highest height.
It is mentioned above that, “Because of its characteristics (size, diameter, lifespan), The cedar has become a symbol of greatness, nobility, strength and incorruptibility.”. This is what God wants for you! He wants to showcase you to the world as a symbol of greatness, nobility, strength and incorruptibility.
Matthew 5:14-16 KJV Says “14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
God wants men to still be able to testify of His goodness in your life even when things are tough for the people of the world.
To live above natural and economic limitations, you must work on your thoughts, understand your status in Christ and what you are worth.
Genesis 1:21-28.KJV. 21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Above is God’s will for you – to subdue and dominate the earth.
God wants you to be above and above only. Be on top! Don’t live in the World another man has created for you. Create the life you want. Live above the systems of the world!
How do you do this? Change your mindset!
Proverbs 23:7.KJV. 7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”
Being born again makes you live the God kind of life; the glory of the Lord will be revealed through you.
You are able to make declarations and it comes to pass because of the divine nature in you.
Having the mind of Christ makes you succeed perpetually in all you do in your business, job, career, and finance.
1 Corinthians 2:16b.KJV. “… but we have the mind of Christ.”
One of the remarkable qualities of a spirit being is the ability of being independent of natural laws and principles. He cannot be restricted, molested, or predicted.
Having the mind of Christ empowers you to become creative; your mind is inspired by the Holy Spirit to be productive in all that you do.
A spiritual upgrade takes place when you are born again, but you then have a responsibility to renew your mind.
Romans 12:2 KJV says “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
This article you have read today is part of renewing your mind.

PRAYER OF SALVATION
Kindly say this prayer aloud;
“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your word says, “…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).
I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Roman 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”,
I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God!
I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”
