The much-anticipated Flavours of Nigeria Festival returns this year with even more vibrancy, flavor, and cultural richness. Scheduled to take place on August 9th, 2025, at Gage Park, Brampton, Ontario, the festival is a bold initiative aimed at exporting Nigeria’s rich culture and tourism to Canada while fostering cultural exchange and appreciation.
This year’s theme, “A Cultural Voyage,” reflects the festival’s mission to take attendees on a journey through the depth and diversity of Nigerian heritage.
Now in its second edition, the Flavours of Nigeria Festival is more than just an event — it is a cultural experience that brings the sights, sounds, tastes, and traditions of Nigeria to life in the heart of Brampton, Canada. The festival will be attended by top government officials from Nigeria and Canada, reinforcing its growing importance as a platform for bilateral cultural and economic collaboration.

The co-curator Ambassador Akin Oduntan while speaking in Canada stated that the event will indeed showcase the Nigerian spirit of creativity, unity, and resilience on an international stage.”
