Vantage Markets has marked its 15th anniversary by giving back to communities in Ikeja and its environs in Lagos recently. It organised a charity event and distributed essential items to over 2,000 people in Lagos, Abuja, Abeokuta, Akure and Ibadan.
The event brought together community members, Vantage Markets staff and volunteers who aimed to spread hope and relief to those facing financial hardships. It extended support to orphanages, where it donated food items and essentials to children in need.
Ted Odigie, Vantage Markets’ Regional Manager for Africa, said: “Our 15-year journey as a global multi-asset broker has been about more than just financial services. This event is a celebration of that journey. We are proud to use this opportunity to give back to the community.
“In addition to trading support, our goal is to empower young people with knowledge and skills, fostering a better future for them and their communities.”
Adeogun Omotosan, Marketing Manager, said: “Our success is tied to the well-being of the community. As a financial provider and partner in progress, we want to help our community thrive because when our community moves forward, so do we.”
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation. Charity Victoria: “I am so happy to have received these food items. It’s been tough to get money for basic needs.”
Babatunde Amos: “I haven’t looked inside yet. But I know it’ll help meet my needs for a while.”
Rachael Mary: “This is a great initiative. I am grateful to be one of the beneficiaries. It will save me money, allowing me to spend on other essentials.”
