In a bid to capture the Nigerian market, Wellcome Snacks, a newcomer in the puff food industry, officially launched its innovative three-layer snack at a grand event in Abuja. The launch attracted business partners, distributors, media representatives, influencers and the public, offering a comprehensive introduction to the brand and its unique products.
The general manager of Wellcome Nigeria Ltd., Mr. Will Li, expressed his excitement about the new venture, highlighting Wellcome Snacks as part of CWAY’s ongoing commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. “The Wellcome snack’s tagline, ‘Single Crunch, Triple Delight,’ promises a unique taste and delicious experience,” Li said. He emphasized that the product is the first-of-its-kind three-layered chip, crafted using advanced Japanese technology. Currently available in spicy chicken and chocolate flavors, Wellcome Snacks aims to captivate snack enthusiasts across Nigeria.
AGM of Marketing, Mr. Samuel Akinrimisi, revealed that the brand targets Nigerians of all ages, with a primary focus on young adults aged 16–25. He noted that the product is available in three sizes—15g, 30g, and 60g—to cater to various consumer preferences and occasions.
During a detailed briefing session, brand and marketing manager Mr. Falase Emmanuel presented the origins and development of Wellcome Snacks. This session included a video documentary detailing the meticulous manufacturing process and the careful attention to detail in crafting each variant of Wellcome Snacks. The event culminated in the official unveiling of the åproducts.
Guests were then treated to an exclusive tour of Wellcome Snacks’ state-of-the-art factory facilities in Idu, led by Plant Manager Mr. Pradeep Singh. This tour allowed visitors to witness the production process firsthand, reinforcinåg the brand’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
