Turkish news outlet, TV100 reports that Fenerbahçe is interested in signing centre forward, Victor Boniface from the German league, with a potential transfer fee involved.
Taylan Sedef from the Gegen Medya YouTube channel indicated that Fenerbahçe is keen on securing Boniface but acknowledged the complexity of the transfer. Galatasaray is also in the running for the player.
According to German press outlet Fussball Transfers, Bayer Leverkusen is demanding a transfer fee between €40 million and €50 million for Boniface.
If the transfer goes through at these figures, Boniface would be the most expensive player in Turkish football history. The 24-year-old has struggled to meet expectations in the German league this season, managing to score 11 goals and provide 2 assists in 27 matches.
