FAMAD Plc, a footwear accessories manufacturing and distribution company (formerly Bata) is set to host its multiple Annual General Meetings on Thursday, January 16 in Lagos.

The company, in a statement, said the AGMs will span December 31, 2007, up till December 31, 2021.

The board chairman, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, said that the AGMs would avail the shareholders with the performance of their company over the years.

“It would also be a great occasion to seek for more detailed information on the challenges and opportunities of the organisation” he said.

He added that the abridged financial statements for the years covered by the AGMs will be presented to the shareholders for examination and ratification, along with that of the audit committee. There will also be election and re-election of directors, including that of Engr. Mayen Adetiba (re-election) and Alhaji Muhammed Kabir Haruna (election).

Ighodalo used the opportunity to thank the shareholders for their unwavering support and trust in the Board over the years, explaining that the management and staff of the company had been great components of its success story.
