The Black History and Lifestyle Awards which took place on Sunday October 29, 2023 at the prestigious Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall in the heart of London is still an evening to remember.
The event, spearheaded by Ezi-Ada Folashade Balogun, founder, House of Sota, in partnership with Olori Ronke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, founder, Africa Fashion Week London, attracted the creme de la creme in London.
It was an evening of fun glamour and music extravaganza as Seyi Shay and Sodi Cookey entertained guests. The compere of the night, Ali Baba, also added flavour to the evening.
House of Sota, Adire Oodua, among other designers, showcased their brands modeled by celebrities.
Some Nigerians who have distinguished themselves and made indelible marks in their chosen fields were given awards to appreciate their contributions to mankind.
Among the awardees were: Queen Ronke Ademiluyi- Ogunwusi, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of Space Nation, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Cllr Lade Olugbemi, BBC, Amb Tunji Abiodun.
