Former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of Lagos State, Adeniji Kazeem, has emerged the new President of Ansar-ud-deen Society worldwide.
He emerged through a consensus, following the completion of the two-term tenure of three years each of his predecessor, AbdulRafiu Sani.
Similarly, former National Commissioner in charge of Policy, Personnel, Management and Finance of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Dr. Ibrahim Yusuf, emerged as Deputy President, while former National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Workers (NURTW), Najeem Yasin, emerged as the Vice President (North).
Other newly elected executive members are Nurudeen Okunleye – Vice President (Lagos State), Jimoh Popoola -Vice President (Ogun State), retired Justice Moshood Ajeigbe – Vice President (Osun State), Tesleem Adediran – Vice President (Oyo State ), Sulaiman Ogunlayi – Vice President (Ekiti State ), Yusuf Adesina Soliu – Vice President (Ondo State ) and Abdul-Rahman Olabode Salaudeen, National Secretary among others.
In his acceptance speech, the new President pledged to take the society to greater heights and to leverage cutting-edge media techniques to promote its activities and interventions, including Summit University, Offa.
