Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has singled out striker Nicholas Jackson for praise after his performance in the Blues’ 2-1 Premier League victory over Leicester City on Saturday evening.

Maresca stated that the Senegal international is doing well after scoring Chelsea’s opening goal against Leicester.

Daily Sun reports that Chelsea defeated the hosts at the King Power Stadium thanks to two goals from Jackson and Enzo Fernández.

He added, “We are very happy with the way Nico is playing on the ball but especially in the way he is playing off the ball – the way he is pressing. In this moment, we are very happy and we are sure he is going to get better game after game.”
