Maria João Diogo, the wife of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, is reportedly unhappy with her life after swapping Lisbon for Manchester, according to The Sun.

She married Amorim in 2013 and relocated to England with their two children when he succeeded Erik ten Hag in November.

However, Maria has struggled to acclimate to life in the north-west of England.

She is not the first partner of a player or staff member at the club to express dissatisfaction with the city.

After joining Manchester United for £59.7 million from Real Madrid in 2014, Ángel Di María’s wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, had a negative view of the club after only 11 months.
