The Chief Executive Officer of First Choice Afro Villa Ltd and Mburubu Construction Company Ltd, Jerry Onuokaibe, has congratulated the chairman-elect of Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, Sydney Edeh, along with other PDP candidates, on their resounding victories during the just-concluded local government elections in Enugu State.
Dr. Onuokaibe made this known on Monday in a congratulatory press statement he sent to newsmen on Monday.
It will be recalled that the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission had, on Sunday, declared the results of the local government council elections held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, across all 17 local government councils and 260 political wards in the state.
In the statement, Onuokaibe described Edeh’s victory as a reflection of the resolve of the people of Nkanu East to allow him to continue his good works.
He further extended his congratulations to the 16 other Peoples Democratic Party candidates who also emerged as chairmen in their respective local government areas.
Dr. Onuokaibe also acknowledged the pivotal role of Gov Peter Mbah in ensuring a peaceful and successful electoral process and highlighted the governor’s commitment to good governance and development as key factors that contributed to the overall success of the elections.
The real estate mogul expressed optimism that the newly elected local government council chairmen would collaborate effectively to bring about meaningful projects that would have a positive impact on their communities.

Sydney Okey Edeh on his well-deserved emergence as the Executive Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area.
