Last week, we spoke about fruitfulness, highlighting its meaning;
Fruitfulness means to produce desired results.
Fruitfulness means to produce beneficial results.
Fruitfulness means to be resultful in whatever you do.
Fruitfulness means to be prosperous.
We also talked about one of the ways to be fruitful and we discussed that the first way to be fruitful is to:
1. Develop success and productivity mentality.
We defined thoughts, outlining that:
* Thoughts are things.
* Thoughts are pictures
* Thoughts are seeds
* Thoughts are weapons
We also talked about the power of thoughts and how you can change the way you think.
This week, we will be talking about the power of vision as it concerns your fruitfulness in life.
2. VISION:
GEN.13:13-14.KJV.
13 “But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.
14 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:”
JER.1:11-12.KJV.
11 “Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”
What Is Vision?
• Vision is like a burning fire in our hearts.
• Vision means to see ahead.
• Vision is a mental picture about the future.
No matter what is going on in your nation, you have right to see a different picture of the future that you desire.
Where there is vision, there is greatness, progress, success and God will be committed to make provision.
You have the responsibility to see the vision concerning your life, business, job, career, and finance. You cannot succeed beyond your vision.
Don’t be blind about the future, God will not give you what you have not seen.
Our opening scripture, Jeremiah 1:11-12.KJV says
11 “Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”
This means that your life is at the mercy of your vision.
Vision is seeing beyond where you are now, it is a gift from God.
Vision is an opportunity for you to make a change!
You have to know that you can change any situation with your vision!
Genuine vision provokes favor and influence. It attracts people and favor.
Visionary people are always influential people.
Vision is the source of hope and a seed of faith.
No matter what you are going through, create the image about a preferred future.
2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV says
”while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.“
No matter what goes on in your life, you should know that it came only to pass and it is subject to change.
So if you are going through challenges and people come to you to try to make you discouraged, refuse!
Tell them, “it came to pass, it’s subject to change!”
That situation is subject to change brother! it’s so next to change sister!
If you find yourself meditating on your problem, stop right there and scream, “It came to pass! It is subject to change and I’m changing it!”
Have a vision for your life and meditate on it.
Instead of thinking of what seems to be a hopeless situation.
Your future will be exactly what you see.
When you see it, you will endure the pain of the present.
Vision is the foundation of courage and it helps you to be persistent no matter the present pressure that is before you.
Once you know what you want, no matter what comes against you, you will maintain stamina.
God gave us vision so we can live by what we see.
Finally, you must learn to dream BIG!
God doesn’t get involved with small things so you must learn to dream so big in such a way that you know that only God can help you achieve it.
There’s no issue with starting small, but you must has a vision that has the capacity to be enlarged and plan for it.
Ensure your vision is detailed.
Whatever it is you have in mind, have a detailed documented plan for it.
The Lord will govern you as far as your eyes can see.
Get all the necessary information so opportunities will not meet you unprepared.
In all of these, the first step is to be born again as
Romans 10:9-10 says
”that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.“
Kindly say this prayer aloud;
“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your word says,”…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2v21).
I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Roman 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”,
I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God!
I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”
