President of the ECK Foundation Dr Emeka Kalu has said he is dedicated to transforming lives in Abia North Senatorial Zone as he prepares for the 2027 election.
Addressing a gathering of youths recently, Kalu emphasised that his “resolve to bring succour and development to his constituency remains sacrosanct.”
The businessman who is based in the United States is also the convener of the Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG). He said that with decades of experience in political emancipation efforts both in Nigeria and globally, his support was instrumental in the election of the youngest African president in Guinea-Bissau in 2019.
He said that through the ECK Foundation, he has been able to implement various empowerment initiatives, including education programmes, skills acquisition training, vocational development, and human capacity building. “My vision for Abia North focuses on tackling poverty and introducing an ICT-driven economy that would empower youths and secure their future,” he said.
Kalu said his commitment to uplifting his constituency is demonstrated through “tireless efforts to create opportunities for growth and development. By prioritising education, vocational training, and economic empowerment, I’ll equip the people of Abia North with the tools necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving world.”
Kalu said his leadership and vision present a promising direction and that with his experience, global perspective, and passion for community development, he will usher in “a new era of growth, development, and prosperity for the people.”
