A former Secretary to Plateau State Government and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Plateau North, Hon. Rufus Bature has expressed confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari and APC candidates will win the Saturday Presidential and National Assembly Elections in Plateau state.
He urged people of the Northern Senatorial District to come out in mass and vote massively for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to consolidate on the existing peace, fight against corruption and insecurity in the country.
Hon. Rufus disclosed this on Wednesday during a press briefing in Jos and expressed confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in conducting free, fair,credible and acceptable elections to all.

“I have the confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari will win the Saturday Election and APC candidates in Plateau state because of the party’s commitment on fight against corruption and insecurity.
“The President has brought developmental projects to Plateau state in the last three and half years. He has facilitated the establishment of Police Barracks in flash points areas which has resulted in the current peace the state is enjoying.”
He expressed confidence that INEC will conduct free, fair and acceptable elections and assured that the vote of every individuals would count.
Bature noted that he would used his legislative experienced over the years to projects the interest of Plateau North in the National Assembly if given the mandate.
He also pledged to champion the reconciliation of the warring communities which were robbed of their peace as a result of attacks by gunmen in Plateau North.
