“First and foremost I want to thank God for a successful end of the season. You all did your best, in football sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t. But the most important thing is that we all ended the season alive. Yes we didn’t win trophies; I believe there is always another time. We are not going to crucify anybody, all that is required of us now is to go back and begin to prepare for the coming season.”
“The management have deemed it necessary to let you proceed on three weeks break, you are all expected to resume training on the 21st of June 2025, so we can begin preparations on time for the 2025 / 2026.season. We do not want a repeat of what happened in the just concluded season to happen again. Edo Queens has become a household name in Nigeria Women Football, so to keep our names in the minds of our fans we must all be ready to make sacrifices to keep Edo Queens flag flying in the annals of Nigerian women football.”
“So on behalf of the Executive chairman of the commission, and his board members, I want to apologise for ending the season without a trophy, we are indeed very sorrow. We promise to rewrite the wrongs come next season.
Sequel to this therefore, I wish you all safe journey to your respective homes. Enjoy your break, but don’t forget that there is a big task ahead that must be surmounted.”
