De Norsemen Klub International, DNKI, Cross River State chapter, has congratulated Sen. Prince Bassey Otu on his swearing-in as the executive governor of the state.
The DNKI state guv’nor, Sir Peter Undiandeye (MON) in a congratulatory message to the governor, urged him to leave no stone unturned to justify the trust and confidence reposed in him by the people of the state.
The organisation called on the governor to be consultative with relevant stakeholders in running the affairs of government as doing so would help to bring the needed dividends of democracy to the people, thus improving lives and enhancing socioeconomic growth.
He said there was no doubt that the people of the state had full confidence in the abilities of the governor and his deputy to lift the state to greater heights having known their antecedents as men with a knack for service to humanity.
Undiandeye said:”Your win was not a surprise for us. We knew that the people love you and you were going to be victorious after all. Now that the wheel of steering the state to greatness is in your hands, we expect and believe that you will reciprocate the love shown to you by doing those amazing things that have always endeared the people to you. We are confident that you will work and surpass the expectations of people of the state.
“People relied on you with their votes, and now it’s your turn to make them happy with amazing service delivery.
