Media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze has advised parents to make their retirement plans without depending on their children financially in old age.

He said depending on one’s children financially should not be normalised or it would breed a “generational curse”.

The controversial On-Air-Personality and social media influencer said this in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

“It’s ok to support ur parents financially if they need it. What is NOT OK is to normalise it and expect ur children to support you financially.

“If your parents used u as a retirement plan, don’t emulate them! Break the generational curse!” he said.

However, Daddy Freeze’s assertion elicited reactions from his followers.
