The Saudi Arabian authorities has granted leave for the remains of the elder statesman, Aminu Alhassan Dantata to buried in the holy city of Madinah, in line with his long-term wish while he was alive.

This was made public yesterday by his private principal secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu in his official social media handle.

“It has been confirmed that Aminu Alhassan Dantata will be transported from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madinah for his final rites.

“Authorities have granted the necessary approvals for the transfer and preparations are underway for the Janazah (funeral prayer), scheduled to take place tomorrow morning, Insha Allah,” he stated.

He explained that Dantata has all along wished to be buried in Madinah, close to his wife’s grave.

The late elder statesman, philanthropist and multi- billionaire businessman passed away in the United Arab Emirate on Saturday at the age of 94.
