The Supreme Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Solomon Adegboyega Alao, has admonished Nigerians to remain steadfast in their prayers and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the country out of the current economic challenges.
He also called on the administration to initiate measures to address the masses’ suffering. The admonition is coming on the heels of Christmas and the anticipated New Year celebrations.
In a statement made available to Sunday Sun, he enjoined the Christian faithful to emulate Jesus Christ’s virtues in their relationship with their neighbours and urged them to celebrate in moderation.
“The birth of Jesus Christ reminds us of the Saviour who gives us salvation. So, Christmas should be celebrated to reflect the reason(s) Jesus came into our world: To erase the curse of sin, bring salvation to man, and restore us to God. I, therefore, charged Seraphs and all Christians to celebrate in moderation while we continue to support Nigeria’s political leaders in prayers for them to take us to the Promised Land, Prophet Alao said.
