Succor finally came the way of Nigerians stranded in Thailand and other countries in Mekong region as the ambassador of Nigeria to Thailand, Ambassador Nuhu Bamalli initiated moves that lead to evacuation of over 30 Nigerians fromThailand.
In a statement, the Eze Ndigbo Mekong River Asia, Eze Amb. Jerome Uzochukwu Ezeneche commended the ambassador for initiating the move that led to the evacuation. He said with this move, Nigerians home and abroad would now know that contrary to insinuations in some quaters that Nigerians in Mekong area stranded and suffering, the embassy is alive to its duty of caring for its citizens.
While commending Ambassador Bamalli and other diplomatic corp for their excellent performance in caring for Nigerians in Thailand and neighbouring countries in Mekong, HRH Ezeneche said the envoy name has being etched in the sand of time and Nigerians in Thailand would continue to praise him for his good works.
Furthermore, the royal father appeal to Nigerians in Mekong to continue to be law abiding as the Federal
Government of Nigeria is alive to its responsibilities of proctecting them home and abroad.
while wishing Amb. Bamalli well in his future endeavour as his mission as ambassador of Nigeria to Thailand came to end, HRH Ezeneche said Nigerians in Thailand an other countries in Mekong are proud of him.
