An American-based preacher and General Overseer of Royal Place Ministries International, Bishop Blessing Samuel, has given the assurance that there is hope in the seemingly hopeless situation over the ravaging Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, saying that it would disappear in the thin air the way it appeared through divine means.

He asserted that what the world is going through is a trial period, though difficult to bear for everyone all over the world, but faith should be the watchword, rather than the fears being exhibited by many.

Samuel, whose mandate is to impact kingship and banished slavery, assured that there is hope in the hopeless situation, even as many might be wondering whether the world is coming to an end. “Considering what is happening all over the world in the recent time, many people are wondering, and are asking whether the world is coming to an end. But, the answer is no. This is just a trying time. What we need is prayer and good lifestyle.”

He believed strongly that the demon has been destroyed and solutions shall be found quicker than the doctors anticipated. “Coronavirus is not just a virus, it is a demon that is trying to kill our faith through the closure of churches, but God will fight for His people. It will soon disappear the same way it came.”

Samuel stressed the need for everyone to be aware of how coronavirus spreads, so that they would take preventive measures. “Everyone need to stay safe, be prayerful and have faith in God to see us through.”

The cleric also encouraged Nigerians, religious bodies and the entire world not to ignore the laws and instructions of the government. But should join hands in the mission to rescue the nation’s system from collapsing. “We should all comply with government’s safety measures  geared towards reducing the spread of the virus, by avoiding large gathering for now. It is not fear, but wisdom. There is strong hope that the pandemic will be a history. Meanwhile fervent prayers should be our watchword instead of panicking.”
