The immediate past Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice(AGF) Abubakar Malami (SAN) has congratulated the Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris and the APC on his victory over the opposition party PDP at the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
A Statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of Khadimiyya Initiative for Justice and Development Initiative, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Jombali stated that the former Minister was amongst the early callers at the Government House to celebrate with Dr Nasir Idris over his victory.
Jombali,stated that while Malami speaking with newsmen at the Government House , he described the victory as well-deserved considering the large votes given to Governor Idris by the Kebbi State electorate in the March 2023 Gubernatorial election.
“He describing the victory as a clear indication that he is the right person to rule this State.
“We hope this verdict will spur His Excellency to double his effort in the good work he is doing for the betterment of the masses, especially in the areas of Agriculture, Health, Education, Security among other sectors”.
He urged the good people of Kebbi State to keep on praying for Governor Kauran Gwandu to continue with the good deeds he started.
Also Speaking the Khadimiyya BOT Chairman along with Hon Faruku Maisudan called on the opposition in the state to join hands with Dr. Nasir’s administration to move the state forward, saying that patriotism should now be the driving factor with a view to bolstering the even socio-economic development of the state.
He added that the former Minister was accompanied by the Secretary 2023 APC Campaign Council Alhaji Abubakar Usman Gotomo, Hon Member Representing Suru LG Constituency Hon Faruku Abubakar Maisudan, Special Adviser Bello Muhammad Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Jombali, Alh Surajo Kasimu Argungu, and Alhaji Yusuf Musa Bingi amongst others.
