A group of Councilors in Shira local Government Area of Bauchi State has reportedly sack the Chairman and the Vice Chairman
Daily Sun learnt that the embattled Chairman, Honourable Abdullahi Beli and the Vice Chairman were removed over alleged mismanagement of funds
The development for the removal of the Chairman and his Vice was said to have been carried out in an impromptu meeting conveyed for the resolution.
Chairman of the councilors Wali Adamu, disclosed this to journalists on Monday when he led other Councillors to the State Assembly to notification the House of the development as required by the law.
Adamu cited illegitimate and one-sided operation by the sacked chairman in discharging the affairs of the local Government despite one month warning.
He said he would be the one in charge of Shita local Government affairs pending the decision of the state house of assembly.
The sacked LG Chairman could not be reached for his reaction at the time of filing this report
