Big Bull Rice’s newly unveiled holographic seal tape on 25kg and 50kg packs, has continued to draw commendations from  consumers who described it as the easiest strategy to beat counterfeiters to their game.

Some consumers who assessed the benefit of the seal tagged it an innovative measure, aimed at combating counterfeiting and ensuring that customers can easily verify the authenticity of their purchases.

Several key distributors, wholesalers, retailers and consumers, who commented on the benefits of the new holographic seal, said it represents a significant advancement in consumer protection and  enhances the security of the brand, thereby strengthening consumers’ trust and confidence.

They argued that the seal’s tamper-proof features ensure that any attempt to compromise the packaging would be immediately noticeable, thus offering extra layerism of quality assurance to buyers.

According to Chukwuma Nwosu, a wholesale foodstuff trader, the safety features of the seal was a welcome development that reassured the consumer that he was buying the right product.

“I’m happy that I can differentiate Big Bull Rice from counterfeit products with this new holographic seal as customers trust the brand more because of it. They are usually worried about fake products, but this gives them reassurance and confidence to purchase.”

In her remarks on the introduction of the seal, Mrs. Bola Afolabi, also shared her relief, saying, “So many products have been compromised in Nigerian markets, as getting authentic and healthy products is now a chore. I want the best for my family and I am happy Big Bull rice brand has taken this proactive step. I can now purchase rice without fear of a counterfeit product.”
