The Christ Apostolic Church Mount Zion, Lagos will round off its 2024 convention tomorrow.
With the theme, ‘Grace for Global Impact,’ the programme, which started on Monday, March 18, has featured acclaimed Christian preachers, including Pastor E. Tayo Ayodele, Pastor Sunday Alaja, Prophet Adeniyi Olowoporokn, Ven. Blessing Ajayi, Prophet Akinola Fasawe, Pastor Oluwole Roland, Apostle Bolaji Akintewe, and Pastor James Taiwo.
The Convener, Pastor Ayodele, in his remarks, said: “The world is a global village, where any event at one side causes a ripple effect to the other part. We all live in this global village and whatever one does affects the other and this is the reason we have to be our brother’s keeper. Whoever that is not having impact in life is perceived as irrelevant in the society.
“A leader must impact his followers in order to have a long lasting legacy. The same thing is also applicable to parents who are charged with the responsibility to train the child well so as to be the family’s ambassador. The disposition of any man is a result of the impact he received as a boy,” he said.
Pastor Solomon Yusuf, who spoke to newsmen, said the activities of the past days included marathon vigil, praise worship, community social responsibility (CSR), empowerment of indigent people, and the grand finale will be the consecration of new deacons and deaconesses, cutting of convention cake and anointing service.
