Napoli legend, Edinson Cavani has rated Victor Osimhen as one of the best strikers in the world.
The Nigeria striker, this season in the Italian Serie A played a vital role in helping Napoli clinch its third Scudetto after 33years.
Cavani, who scored 104 goals in 138 games for Napoli between 2010 and 2013, pointed out that Osimhen’s hunger makes him different.
“Idol of my children? They talked a lot about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen,” Cavani told DAZN via Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Even twenty days ago when they came to see me they spoke to me about it. It’s nice to know they have these idols.
“Osimhen? I really like his hunger, he’s incredible, he never gives up, and so in the end that’s what makes you a difference and makes you a competitive player,” he added.
“He has everything to continue growing and become one of the best strikers in the world. The Scudetto was also won thanks to his hunger.”
Cavani, 36, helped Napoli clinch the Coppa Italia during the 2011-12 season.
