His Excellency Yanko Yordanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria in Abuja, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC),  accompanied by Rumen Chavdarov and Honorary Consul, Achike Umunna.

Upon arrival, Ambassador Yordanov was received by the Director-General of CBAAC,  Aisha Adamu Augie, and the Management Staff of the centre, where he presented a book titled “I AM…”, translated into English by Ana Naneva.

The book celebrates inspirational women and marks the 100th anniversary of Zonta International, a leading NGO empowering women worldwide.

Following the presentation, Ambassador Yordanov was taken on a comprehensive tour of the centre, including the Archives, Museum, as he expressed his satisfaction with the rich cultural heritage and educational resources available at CBAAC.

The CBAAC DG said Ambassador Yordanov’s gesture demonstrates Bulgaria’s support for CBAAC’s vision and mission, dedicating itself to inspiring positive change.

She thanked the ambassador for his initiative, commending it as a significant step towards deepening cultural understanding and cooperation.
