A member of House of Representatives from Jigawa State, Alhaji Mohammed Adamu Fagen Gawo representing Babura/Garki federal constituency has died in a Dubai hospital, He was reported dead today (Tuesday).
The All Progressives Congress ( APC) party chairman in the state, Alhaji Habibu Sara, said the member who was a former permanent secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was said to have died due to severe leg pains he had been nursing for quite some time.
Habibu Sara who spoke with our correspondent over the telephone, confirmed the lawmaker’s death, stating that he had earlier spoken with him while he was in hospital in Dubai at around 2 pm.
He said the death was a rude shock to his family and the entire state.
The deceased was serving a second-term member of the House. of Representatives
