The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is inviting former spokesperson of Goodluck Jonathan’s Presidential Campaign Organisation and erstwhile Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode to its office for questioning, the Sun gathered.
In a letter sent to Fani-Kayode’s Abuja residence, the anti-graft agency is demanding that he shows his presence in its Abuja office by 10.00am on Monday, May 9, 2016, to give insight to his role in the presidential campaign funds of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 presidential elections.
The letter was signed by Mr. Mohammed Umar Abba for EFCC acting chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu just as it was learnt that Fani-Kayode’s lawyer has assured the anti-graft agency that he would honour the invitation.
